The Shell Family

I had a chance to photograph the Shell family, another Father's Day surprise shoot for a Dad, again at Fantasyland Park in Front Royal. "D" was the quiet, older one of the bunch, "L" was mister goofy, and little "G" was one of the cutest little girls I've met! Let me tell you what, "L" just LOVES his brother! You could totally tell that, throughout the shoot! "L" kept me laughing a lot of the shoot. I had a great time working with them, Mom didn't think she could wait til Father's Day to show their Dad the pictures!
I look forward to working with the whole family next time!!

Ledford Maternity Shoot Part 1

During the hike at Shenandoah National Park, in the last post, I had the opportunity to take some maternity pictures for some dear friends from my church! This is their first baby, they're not finding out the sex until the baby is born, and they really hadn't had any baby bump pictures. I was happy to help them out! The shoot was short, and a little untraditional, but fun none the less!

Grace Bible Fellowship Youth Group Hike

I was asked to go on a hike with Grace Bible Fellowship's Youth Group, and hopped at the chance. I'm not much of a hiker, that was made utterly plain by the end of the hike. Luckily, one of the kids in the youth group knows CPR and other life saving skills, which she kept reminding me, just in case I really was dying, like I said, haha. The hike was located in the Shenandoah National Park, on Skyline Drive in Front Royal. It was national "Get outdoors" day, so it was free to enter the park! We had a great time, learned alot about some of the plants on the trail, and even ate some lemongrass. I always love photographing GBF events, I love those guys!

The Jett Family

I spent an hour one afternoon at the Fantasyland Park in Front Royal with the Jett Family, Mom, "R" and "J". Mom wanted to surprise Dad for Father's Day with family pictures, but with "R" being 6, she had to create a story so she wouldn't tell Dad, J was only 20 months, he wouldn't tell! They were coming to take pictures for the newspaper, is what Mom told R and I willingly obliged. We started out down by the creek and then went to the playground, where I got to see the kid's true personalities!

It was a great shoot, and I really look forward to taking J's 2nd birthday pictures in August!

The McKinstry Family

I had the joy of photographing the McKinstry Family a little over a month ago. We did the shoot at their home, in Front Royal, Va. Their little boy, "C" had just turned two and their newest bundle of joy, "H" was about a month and a half old. C is a go, go, go non stop fun little boy, so needless to say I had to chase him to capture these sweet images, but I loved it! He laid down next to H for oh, about .984 seconds, long enough for me to capture one sweet pose side by side.

I can't wait to work with them again!
